Subject: Soybean pod crown set

The varieties that do this seem to be our better yielders and I love to see it. Nothing like adding 10-12 pods at top node or 2. I am not entirely sure but my opinion would be this characteristic is variety specific and not really environmental or manmade influenced. Who else is seeing these? Now if we can only stop the beans from lodging but will probably lose that battle.
