why do i feel like ive saw companies online that repair ecms? its just a circuit board like many other things right?

There are companies that repair ECM's. If the ECM itself was suspect, I would probably go new and be done with it. But just.a burned pin??

Shouldn't be too hard to repair, I wouldn't think.
