Picking one up today that was welded.
Looked like previous owner tried to fix with JB weld.
I’ve had success with jb weld on cast iron
To much of a pain in the ass to remove to chance it this time
You know JB weld failure is generally because of lack of prep. Dry with torch after flushing inside a couple times then sand paper to rough it up, then acetone wash the area a couple times
