Glad I wasn't the only one with this idea.
Get a bag as big as the tote. Pull the top mostly together. Put a zip tie loosely around the top. Fire up the shop vac, suck as much air out as you can, then pull the zip tie shut.
I'd probably try it with a good, heavy duty trash bag first.
Tiny silage pile?
