| It’s funny how people think if guys catch some rains in July and August after having the driest May and June in 10 years , that all is well and fixed. People do realise that a corn plant sets the ear around knee high, right? Around here last year it was 240-250 bushel, 18 around.
This year there is a lot of 14-16 around. That’s an automatic 20-50 bushel behind the eight ball, and if I’m not mistaken isn’t the National corn yield higher than it was last year? Everyone gives the I states flack but the I states are the ones that boost the National yield. If they suffer then so should the National yield. Just saying | |
