NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I really hate to see this happen now or anytime has far as that goes. This is not good news for the hog industry. Especially for the people that work there and the Sioux City community. I've sold alot of hogs to that plant over the years & will miss the hog buyers there. They were all a great bunch of guys to deal with. This will definitely cost me more transportation expense down the road to gets hogs to further away plants. This will be just that much less competition for our hogs out there. | |
