West Central IA | Drone is completely different animal than anything you have seen in the past. With a drone you are so close to the crop and there is such turbulence that the crop is actively moving under the drone and the spray is able to get on both sides of the leaves and move out with the turbulent air to cover the width of your spray pattern. The higher you fly the less of this effect. If you get a chance to see in person with spray that is colored and not clear you can really witness this effect in real time. We have been spraying 2 g/per acre and appears to have good coverage. | |
