I don't know how these will appear vs what it is.. Its kind of better than I expected.. which wasn't much. If it would quit raining.. we might try to get more but..
I honestly don't think it's worth trying to spray.. with the restrictions 3 to 7 days.. by the time the restricted period passes and it doesn't rain any more..??? We'll be facing sprout damage soon.. some evidence already.
Stick a combine in it.. see what the moisture is.. get what we can.. the problem is that the weedy parts are the thin stands.. probably less than 20 bu potential now.. get the disk out.. work the rest.. pray we can sprout and then kill the volunteer.. somehow.
Pic 1 tracks after harvested.. yup it's wet.
2 a rough patch of pigweeds.. which was sprayed 3 weeks ago
3 180 degrees the other direction..
4 no stand from the drought.. why the weeds are so thick to begin with.. spray? For what?
5 a better kill on less weed pressure due to somewhat thicker stand.. might be able to get this..??
6 rainfall.. 6 days straight and counting.. yea. Drought may be breaking..?? 30 miles to our north they still want rain.. so.. crazy year.
7 for Kb.. ain't all bad.
Some fields are beyond saving.. neighbor tonight lost like 4 quarters to harvest as the farmer is calling it quits.
Unharvested is.. closer to 50% I would say..
I did see one combine running tonight.. somehow.. I hope he can get whatever is in the bin out.. ??
