| Sorry to hear about the heifer. It's always the nicest ones. I have splinted legs on baby lambs with some success. Not cattle. My luck with broken legs is the heifer will get over on her back trying to get up when no one is around and that is how the story ends.
Very icy here too. Man or beast can't be too careful. Really have to be careful feeding not to run into cattle because the tractor can't stop with all the ice underfoot.
