| If it was the 1st of June instead of the 1st of July I would consider spiking an early maturity into them., Now, I think I'd leave them alone, trying to interested into them is going to do more damage than good. If they're bad enough you think something needs done I'd destroy what's there & start over but that is the last option. Problem if you spike into them the beans that there will mature sooner. You'll end up waiting on the later beans to mature & then could possibly end up if the existing beans shattering losing a lot of your yieldbefore the others are ready. At least by destroying the existing beans & replanting, they all will mature at the same time
In the mid '90s we had a wet spring & a lot of beans didn't get planted to now., I had a lot of beans that yr make 55-60bpa. As good as what ai got planted earlyn& much better than expected., | |
