I had 130 of 150 acres beans get hit in '08. The hail line crossed right at the back of one field and I managed to get about 30 bu/ac off it. Coincidentally, the area that was spared also had been in clover the year before; it was almost to the line where the clover started/stopped that I had beans/no beans. Hmmm.

Corn yield down too, eh? These last three years have been terrible. 42 inches, 49 inches, 45 inches of rain/year for '07-'09. Average is 35 inches. Maybe we'll get our drought this year?
