C IL | Add to say, no one appears to appreciate the outside hired manager who comes in and rattles the cages of the good old boy club by having to deliver the message that the world is changing.
Also, and I think this is hard to do because it requires a very knowledgeable advisory board that isn't financially incentivized the same way as the manager, manager and CEO compensation across society should somehow be tied to longer-term outcomes than just the latest operating business cycle. Plenty of Fortune 500 types have gamed the numbers to get a huge golden parachute and then the organization crashes and burns after. How we as a society figure that out will be interesting, because it appears to be very hard.
