Blankets will lesson the thickness of a winter hair coat, but not eliminate it.
Horses respond to light in their reproductive cycle as well as coat cover.
To have an equine shiny yr round, its kept in a heated stall, plus a blanket plus
16 hr minimum of light.
Improper fitting will cause rubbing especially on the shoulder / foreleg area.
