Subject: RE: CaseIH Vector Pro GPS

Cedar Rapids, Iowa
We ran a new AFS Connect tractor this spring with a Vector Pro receiver. The GNSS receiver card is a NovAtel OEM7700, which is the same card used in the NovAtel PwrPak7, Smart7, and Ag Leader 7500. It does have an IMU in the receiver enclosure, but I don't know which one. I'd speculate it's the Epson G320N, which is the same one NovAtel uses in many of their receivers with inertial sensors.

AFS 1, 2, & 3 are equivalent to TerraStar L, C, and C Pro respectively.

The Vector Pro receiver will track all 4 GNSS constellations on all unlock levels, so you'll see 30-40 satellites tracked on it normally. It also stays powered on for 24 + hours after you shut the key off, so you don't need to wait for the signal to converge when you start the tractor, unless it has been sitting for longer than that.
