| Has anyone had any experience with the new Vector Pro GPS setup that's shipping on new machines now? Dealer was just telling me the Vector system completely replaces not only the Trimble GPS receivers but also the NAV controller. I'm not clear whether this is all in the receiver unit on the root now (GPS, IMU, and nav computer in one). Any experiences with this? It is not backwards compatible with older machines so you can't replace a Trimble roof antenna and NAV computer with the new system, unfortunately (or fortunately?).
Case has been wanting to ditch Trimble for years. I guess this is the result of their purchase of Raven. Somehow Novatel is involved also. | |
