The other killer is that you start paying the second they leave the hanger. The closest heli we found was out of Denver, he recommended waiting until they had another job in this general direction to split the travel time with. I would imagine we could have freaked some of the neighbors out!! They also don't do anything on the ground, so you are required to have a licensed rigger prepare the load. They show up, hook on, and go.
