Southern Illinois | Either the RTCM3.1 or the CMR+ should work.
RTCM3.1 was the main standard for most companies until the RTCM 3.2 msm message types were published. 3.2 allows for all satellite constilations to be used with a standard message format used for all of them. However older receivers won't be able to understand those messages.
CMR+ is the original Trimble CMR format containing GPS data and usually a Lieca defined message for Glonass. Trimble had their own version of the Glonass message but didn't publish it so most receiver makers added the Lieca version. Even Trimble let's their receivers use the Lieca version.
CMRx is an unpublished Trimble only message standard. It only works for Trimble made devices.
Between CMR+ and RTCM3.1 there is only a slight difference in total accuracy. CMR uses fraction of a standard wavelength as its data where as RTCM uses sub millimeter data. RTCM 3.1 has the ability to transmit more accurate data but it's unlikely that the Cruiser2 would perform any different between them. | |
