NW IL, Mercer County | Coming from an S67 into an S96 last year I really do like the new cab. I wish the feederhouse stuck out just a few more inches for better visibility of hooking/unhooking from heads. You do need to be a pencil to fit between the engine and the rotor but you shouldnt need to get in there, unless you have problems….Also, be prepared for the lower unload auger height. Its not a big issue on flat ground with a lower profile dual auger grain cart but you do have to be careful in hills. I had to go to a dual auger cart to get enough clearance for 1,000 bu cart. My J&M 875 was a disaster waiting to happen.
Count the number of belts/chains/gearboxes and compare to your current brand. | |
