I am not a dairy but organic beef. Yes there has been a change. To remain certified you now have to have cattle grazing on pasture for the entire grazing year. Depends where you are located, as how long your grazing year is, but no less than 120 days. Pasture must provide at least 30% of the dry matter intake per day. Most of the large dairys in the south and west will not be able to do this.
Do you think the mega-dairies will sneak through somehow?
