Well I don't consider ND to be a warm climate I guess.......and it is absolutely impossible to make a blanket statement like you did I don't care where you are, way too many variables.......worst corn we ever raised was planted 1" deep, haven't made that mistake again
No disrespect, but ND is the banana belt compared to my area.
