We are not that far away and that does not work here. I point out several differences, one your 3" stubble is higher than mine, your soil must be dry, here damp soil under the hay makes it a lot tougher, and your 65 bales must be a second or third cut, here first cut is 110-130 bales /acre, second and third might be half that. I agree sunlight needs to shine on the wet hay, low humidity alone won't do it here. Even in this drought we are in now it takes three days and sometimes four to get hay below 15%, 10% is too dry....
