Several years ago had a farm that has some clay area's that when I got to it they where dry. No-til and couldn't get seed in over a inch deep. Planted it because getting late plus sometimes it rains way more than the weatherman forecasts. Well a inch later and shelled corn in January and standing perfect. Yield was normal for that ground.
How much to stress over planting depth?
