Friend of mine bought a similar machine, was towing it a shorter distance, and had at least 2 tires blow. Said when he started none of them looked like they had any cracking or any signs they were old or going bad.

Makes me wonder if they don't overload the tires on those machines.
Gross overloading will cause tires to wear out fast, and blow prematurely, and it seems today's tires don't have as much margin for error as they used to. I wonder what your machine weighs, and what the tires are rated for. If you have way more load than tire rating, that could be the cause.
