Subject: RE: ? About watering your yards

Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska
Native grass survives although after last year some had thinned out.
I have K-31 in my yard. If it gets too brown in the summer it will die out. Also had some winter kill a year ago.
I’m thinking you guys with brown grass now and expecting it to revive and come back after it rains have a different type of grass? It’s not like we over water ours. I’ll have spots that will turn a little blue or grey between watering when it is hot and try. I try to keep that at a minimum though.
Add. We did have areas of Smooth Brome grass that died out after last summer and winters drought. Buffalo grass thinned out. It’s pretty tough
