 Madison Co. Virginia | The later marrying age is a big factor in smaller families. There just aren't as many years available between the wedding and menopause.
There's also the trend that folks who grew up with a lot of siblings are more likely to have a lot of kids themselves. As the numbers decline, each successive generation is even less likely to buck the trend.
I'm solidly in the camp that pending population collapse is a much greater concern than any concern about overpopulation. | |
