North Central IN | I've had problems waiting until the next day, more spoilage and hay is nasty coming out of wrap. I wrap before I sleep and I don't have any problems. 7 layers of plastic, Deere 459SS baler net wrapping bales. Never had twine in it.
Edit...I don't discriminate on what to wrap, I wrap all hay. Mow one morning, bale the next afternoon usually. Or if my landlord wants his share and it has to be dry, I still wrap dry hay. But I always wrap it same day it's baled, or its slimy coming out of the wrap. Dry hay smells/looks the same as the day it was made.
