West Chazy, New York | L3, L4, and L5 with steel rods. Pretty much the best decision I have made in a long time, not that I really had much choice, as I was heading for a wheelchair pretty quickly if I didn't get help. It's been about six years and the results have been very good. I always say that if I can get my socks on in the morning the rest of the day will be easier. I do have less flexibility than before; bending over is hard and I have learned to do a lot of things in a different position than I used to, but that's part of life. In my case, I rely on Piroxicam to help with the stiffness, and mornings are always a challenge because I tend to stiffen up overnight, but considering the alternatives I am very glad that I had it done. |
