The train engineers were fine I think but in my opinion they had about a mile of notice before they collided with the low boy. How they didn't get that thing geared down and stopped or at least slowed considerably I do not know.




I was told one time, that the average train traveling at 60 mph takes at least a mile to stop. I don't know how acurate that is, but I will try to ask my train engineer friend the next time I see him.
