Funny you mention that, we actually notilled half this field as we were running out of moisture where the ground got a little heavier. Can report back in the fall but will say the strips planted very nice here and we were putting fertilizer down as well. We typically fight cold soils until middle of May but are past that now. Kind of an individual field basis.
