We feed Herefords until the mid '60s. First thing I thought of when I saw "Cecil" was a horned Hereford. E erything about him says Hereford. But as said he's yours so paint him like you want. Funny thing, we feed Herefords, 2-300 a year but we never butchered any for our own use, always bought our meat from a butcher shop,that raised Chariole
