Subject: Can a 4 prong big square bale fork handle 2 or 1 round bales?

Southern Alberta
If I buy a nice 4 prong fork for big square bales, can I use it to pick up just 1 5'x6' round bale if they are stacked close together, or will the extra width of the forks get in the way? Is it going to be impossible to get 4 forks out of a bale?

When handling 2 round bales at a time, they will be mainly straw bales and weight 1100 lbs each. Total weight will not be that much, but the width will be 12' wide. Unfortunately you have to have them lifted over the cab to move or you can't see ahead of you.
