Subject: RE: handling round bales with a skid steer

SW Missouri
I have a bale spear from Washburn's as well, Alan is my dad's first cousin. He's a farmer so he know how they get abused and builds them to stand up. It has 4 spikes about 30" long with the tall rack to handle 3 3x3x8 bales. It was one of the first ones they made if not the first. I went in and we made it the way I wanted it. I'm not sure if the pictures of mine are still on the web site but I think they were on there. I handle 2 4'x5 1/2' bales with my CAT 287B with no problem. I've never handled 5'x6's before so no help there.
