It is a pretty big deal in the scope of history.
This Royal Family is what remains of centuries of royal leadership in Great Britain. Once upon a time this monarchy did great things but in our modern society it’s role it pretty minor.
Currently the King is the Head of the Commonwealth. 56 countries who are voluntarily under British rule. 2.5 Billion people live In Commonwealth countries.
The USA is not involved and so you would not see the relevance of this Day. | |
