I’m helping a friend of mine do some tillage using a Pro 700 for guidance. I have the field boundary on the Run 4 screen of the display showing coverage. When I am partially done with the field and drive home at the end of the day the field starts shrinking as I drive home. When I return the next day my field boundary is extremely small. With my AgLeader I simply “Suspend Event” when I leave the field and call up the event the next day. What am I missing on the Pro 700? TIA
Does the 700 "paint" all the way home, and adds all the acres and distance of the drive home? This would indicate that it still thinks you're working. Look at the up/down arrow in the upper left corner of the 700. When you're driving home, the arrow should be gray and pointed up. When you're working in the field, it should be green and pointed down. If it's green and pointed down while you're driving home, it thinks that you're still "in work". How you get the display to recognize that you're not working depends somewhat on your tractor and implement, and on the Pro 700 software. |
