For $10,000 less, the MF gets you a ~10% heavier machine with a superior transmission (if the JD has the PowerReverser 16x16 trans) and superior shuttle lever. Unless the JD has the PowrQuad Plus or Powr8, which I've never used so can't compare with the Dyna4. My experience is reliability will be similar between the two.
