Mb | Had a 5100M, it got wrecked on the road and replaced with a 6713 (5711's big brother).
Massey pumps more oil making loader response way better.
Our 5100M seemed to always be finding reasons to flash N on the dash and not move. Had to put the shuttle in neutral and let the clutch to the top for 2 seconds to reset it. Mechanics messed with it a bit, usually it was a bad seat switch but happened A LOT. Actually tried to trade the tractor bc of it but to my surprise it didnt hold its value at all.
Wreck happened and there wasnt much available for a new replacement. Took patience to buy it; usually deal with cnh or deere and they are easier to buy from; was kinda an eye openner for me as to maybe part of why agco isnt as popular.
670 hours on it so far, had our first breakdown this spring, bad connection between 2 computers.
5100M was at the shop 4 times for warrenty work.
Shuttle flashing N problem, mechanism to change into economy pto screwed up, 1 remote cable broke, 1 remote coupler jammed up, one leaky hydraulic line.
Overall Im glad we have the Massey. | |
