waaaay east central Colorado
You will find that you will use your skid steer for more things than you ever thought you would, everyone should get one if they're able. As for hay handling, we use predominately big squares, but have handled rounds in the past. We have a homemade bale spear (with 5 "spikes") that works well for both. The spikes came from a local Case dealer, can get you contact info if you want. We have no trouble carrying two big squares with our NH 190B, but had to add some counterweight. I've been a fan of grapple forks forever, but the spikes work just fine, and without having to add height to our existing bucket (which is great when cleaning grain out of roundtop buildings). Pallet forks work for moving bales in a pinch, if you don't want too many attachments.
