Subject: RE: Planting

NW IL, Mercer County
Currently 15% planted on corn and 25% planted on soybeans, all planted April 11th thru 14th.

We are more on the dry side than wet currently. 4” bare soil temp yesterday was 46. Its going to take a few days to start trending back up but even then, temps look to stay below average for the next week. The cold doesnt excite me to continue planting, but I’d rather risk it with cool/dry than cool/wet or warm/wet.
