There was a lot of sod that folks around here started farming no till 10-20 years ago in NCKS. It is truly sad to see the difference in yield (corn, beans, wheat and milo) between this ground and adjoining ground farmed sodbuster style for a hundred years and now no till. The top soil is simply gone.
