Apple's to potatoes comparison really.

We've been running a Gladiator 1200 STPro units for 10plus years unsure how it compares to a 1210 (hopefully they've made improvements)

A knife vs coulter kinda depends on your soil and placement preference, the dawn looks like an awesome spring placement tool, we've even considered one for a spring freshener tool

Complaints on the 1200 include mostly wear. I don't have an accurate count of acres but in dry hard conditions you won't get 500 acres on a set of points (12R30), good soft conditions 1500+, side plates and points both wear out to far and start wearing your main shank, the chain baskets eat bearings like free candy, the chains are good for 2-3000 acres, the berming wheels need a better control system they're just bent and destroyed right away so they basically float freely, we flipped our concave wheels which helps provide a very nice berm anyway.

Not to discourage overall we love the machine and it's the only strip till we've run, I'm sure the others have flaws also, just some days it doesn't feel like the wear parts pay for themselves
