About 15 years ago, we took about 7 acres out of pasture and farmed it. It probably was in pasture for 40 years. I sprayed round-up and planted right in to it. Had to spray multiple times. Neighbor sold most his cows and turned a pasture back into row crop a couple years ago. He did the same and planted corn into it. Yielded good for him too. Why turn it?
