You are right about the BS "balance" issue of Deere 47-4830's. Total BS.
The logic of it just does not make any sense: They say these sprayers are too heavy in the rear, which makes them get stuck. The newer "R" models are heavier yet in the rear, and WAY heavier in the front. And that makes them better? How exactly?
The only reason the 47-4830 sprayers have this balance reputation is the very soft suspension: the first time you get in one and shove the stick forward, it feels like you are going to go over backwards, because the soft suspension squats down in the back taking off.

Saying a sprayer is too heavy in the rear, and that adding more weight in the rear and tons more in front to fix it, is nuts!
