Are Polaris Rangers really made for farm use?

I have been around a Ranger, does not seem to be built for a farm vehicle. Seems like more of the hunter toter and the ride around kart as opposed to the hay dirt and fence tools hauler. The one I have driven did not run good either. Acted like it wanted to be either on idle or at WOT, after replacing throttle cable, throttle position sensor, and a couple other parts. Can-Am, while I aint messed with one, does seem to make a machine more geared toward actual work. But like I tell anyone who will listen, if you really want an actual work SxS, Pug UTV is hard to beat. . .
