West Central IL | Seems like spend a 1/3 of my time trying to locate existing tile before doing any actual work. Look at any arial pictures that our available. Google earth and gis maps for our county. Fly with a drone. Walk the field when it first starts drying and quite a bit of probing. Even doing all this still can miss a few but definitely worth the effort to look before ignoring it. So try to work around the existing tile if go through it put back to itself, hook it in to the new or run a bleeder next to the new one to allow it to still drain water. All depends on what it looks like.
