The chart should be helpful but the true test is to try it. Figure the gallons used and divide by the acres planted. Adjust the setting based on your results.

Install a flow meter in the fertilizer line and connect it to some type of rate controller or monitor. This will give you an applied rate so you can manually adjust the pump to get the rate you desire. One problem with doing this is that the displayed rate may oscillate since you are using a piston pump. Using an accumulator or extra hose coiled up can help the oscillation situation. The more basic rate monitors (not controllers) seem to average out the rate more making them a bit easier to work with for this situation.
Personally I use an Ag Leader Application Rate Module connected to a Raven RFM - 15 flow meter for this purpose. The Micro-Trak folks down at Eagle Lake, Mn make some basic units that could work for your situation.
