Why doesn’t June corn work out for you?? You guys have a longer growing season then we do, granted your a lot heavier soil, but that Memorial Day weekend or first weekend in June for us personally is always some of the best corn year in and year out.

You guys really need to relax a little… if it was may 1 with the current conditions some worries might be warranted but it’s March 28…. We have a long ways to go before it’s a zero sum game. If your that worries get your seed salesman on the phone and get some shorter day corn coming.

Personally… I’m not worried. Yes it’s cold with alot more snow then we have had in alot of years but there isn’t much frost and it won’t take many warm days to turn everything black…

I should add we have seed coming thats some of the longest day we have ever planted… still plenty of growing days in the season. Can’t worry about what’s out of your control just have to make the best decisions as they happen
