Western Minnesota | Talked to 11 guys in the southern Valley 3 NoDak and 8 Minnesota Traverse, Grant, Wilken, Otter tail and Richland Counties between the lot of them would farm between 70 and 80K acres and each and every one stated that they would plant until the last possible moment, Most everyone had 20 to 25% PP last year and missing out on the $1.00 run up in corn and beans made their minds up for this year.
Now that is a small sample size but, very forceful in their thinking most stated not planting cost them a 150K in insurance alone
Not sure what the last possible moment means to them.
