I run 24 rows with 2 rawsons on an 8440. I think you actually have more flow on that tractor then I do. The little trick I learned is to put a solinoid valve on the Rawsons to shut them off, when I lift the planter. You might not even need it, but, I would have it plumbed in there. l just made a power beyond circut, and used a valve from Surplus center, on that. I have a switch that is taped to the raise lever of the hydraulic lever, so when I go to raise it, it cuts off the oil flow to the seed drive. Then when I dump the lever back down, It turns it back on. Seems to work for me.
