 Texas/New Mexico Stateline | I've heard if you let them warm up good, you can leave the 1-2-3-4 range shifter in neutral and run the power shift through the gears. If it pulls down the motor very much, stay away. Like others said, the rearends and powershifts need the most attention. I change the hyd. filters every year in mine even if they only have 300 hours on them. (Don't put a lot of hours on mine every year, mostly a planting tractor) Probably one of the cheapest tractors we have ever had. Purchase price+repairs+fuel use+depreciation. |
