Tom maybe you could buy one of those cheap 4 rows (6 rows are pretty cheap now too) and design one yourself, then you could put a patent on it and retire!!!! Seriously though, doesn't seem to me that there would be much to it, would it? It sure would be lighter, and oughta be cheaper. From my limited knowledge of pickers (last ones I had anything to do with were 1844's and 9960's) it would take rocket science to make it work. I bet you could pick a BUNCH of cotton in a day if you didn't have to stop. You would also be using existing machinery (boll buggy, module builder, module feeder) so it wouldn't cost much to get into it. Anyway its worth what you paid for it!!!!!!!
